Julian Leon

I am a visual artist, creative director and analyst based out of New York. 

I am graduate from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a focus on visual communication, semiology and design/art history. 

I grew up in a version of Bogotá and in an experimental school nestled in the Andes mountains, surrounded by farms, untouched forests, guerrillas, myths and bright midnight skies.

Past and current clients include MAS Event Design, Google, Duravit, Samsung, Abbott, MasterCard, Turner Construction, and a variety of small enterprises and start-ups.

Born in Bogotá, Colombia.
Lives and works in Bonn, Germany.
B.A in Fine & visual Arts, B.A in Romance Philology.
M.F.A with Prof. Michael Reisch at Alanus University in Germany .

I am a multidisciplinary artist trained in the professional visual arts, as well as linguistics and literature. I'm also very interested in UX design, new technology and music.

During the course of my career I had the opportunity to be associated with many different professional roles including — art director, copywriter, project manager, illustrator for internationals projects related to music groups, the publishing world, art galleries and branding.

Since childhood, I have played various musical instruments and have been actively involved in audio production processes, teaching and music composition.
